Privacy policy

UTL Content Hub is Urban Terra Link's private tool for planning and publishing posts to our own social media accounts (our LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram pages, and others we add). Only Urban Terra Link staff can sign in. It is not a service offered to the public, and we do not use it to collect information about the people who see or react to our posts.

What we hold

• Our staff accounts: email address, a hashed password and two-factor settings for the people who sign in.
• Connections to our social accounts: when we connect one of our pages, the network (for example Meta or LinkedIn) gives us an access token, the page or profile name, its ID and its profile picture. We use these only to publish our own posts and read their performance.
• Our content: the posts, captions, photos and videos we write and upload, and our notes and ideas.
• Post performance: summary figures for our own posts, such as reach, likes and comments counts.

We do not sell or share any of this, use it for advertising, or combine it with other data.

Where it is kept

On a private server we run for Urban Terra Link (rented from Hostinger), with encrypted backups in Cloudflare R2 storage. Access tokens are kept on that server only and are sent only to the network that issued them.

How long we keep it

Access tokens are kept while a page is connected and deleted when we disconnect it. Content is kept for as long as it is useful to us. Backups are deleted automatically after 30 days.

Deleting your data

The only Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn data this app holds belongs to Urban Terra Link's own pages and the staff who manage them. To have it removed:

• Remove the app's access yourself: on Facebook go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites), find UTL Content Hub and click Remove. On LinkedIn go to Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services. The connection stops working straight away.
• Ask us to delete it: email info@urbanterralink.co.uk with the subject “Data deletion request” and the account it concerns. We will delete any matching tokens, names and IDs within 30 days (and from backups as they expire) and confirm by email.
